Programs at SEECHILD
The following are the current programs we undertake at our SEECHILD centers.
Skills training program
This is a training program for children with disabilities, and it is offered at our two centers located in Wakiso and Mpigi. We run both day and boarding skill training programs, with the boarding program targeting children from distant places.
Skills trained include self-help, communication/literacy skills, and vocational skills among others
Rehabilitation Program
The Rehabilitation program targets children and adults from the community living with progressive disabilities.
Awareness Program
Under this program, we carry out community outreach and sensitization activities, including using the media like radio stations.
Volunteer Program
The Volunteer program is integrated across all the program offerings in our organization, especially the awareness and outreach activities.
